COURSE OVERVIEW
The Young Actors Training Programme (YAP) offers weekly speech and drama sessions for pre-teens and teens from age 10 to 14 years. The sessions are designed to train them in the craft of acting and in the process develop essential soft skills like confidence, communication, leadership qualities, empathy, and emotional quotient. These young actors will be groomed to have an overall unique personality.
The sessions will be of 2 hours and will be conducted once a week. Students can also choose to take admission for a single session or even opt for a set of 10, 20 or a maximum of 30 sessions. Participants who complete a total of 30 sessions within one year will be selected through auditions for a play production organised every summer as an annual showcase.

- How to audition for professional assignments.
COURSE GOALS
On successful completion of 30 sessions within a span of a year:
- Shoot one monologue on camera to take away.
- Shoot an actor introduction video to take away.
- Get updates on the business of acting and casting opportunities.
- Get to audition for a play production for the annual showcase.
- Receive a certificate on successful completion of the course.

- Those who love cinema and have a passion for the performing arts.
- Those who have no previous acting experience (freshers) and want to explore the field of acting.
- Those who wish to pursue professional acting as a career.
- Those who are looking for a creative fun outlet or a hobby during the weekends.
- Those who do not want to pursue acting as a career but wish to develop their personality, confidence, and public speaking skills

ADMISSION GUIDELINES & PROCEDURE
- Applicants should be between 10-14 years of age
- Applicants should be able to read, speak and write either English or Hindi fluently.
- The sessions will be conducted in Mumbai on Saturdays from 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm.
- The above design of the session is specifically designed for a group. Those who want to train in a private, one-to-one session, please contact our counsellors for guidance.
- Admission into these classes is direct. To block a seat the applicant needs to pay the course fee and submit a form along with an id proof.
- There are NO auditions conducted and admissions are on a first come, first seat basis.
- Please read the Terms & Conditions carefully before applying.
- Batch start dates are subject to change at management discretion.
- Two copies of the Identity cards (I-Cards) will be issued. It is mandatory that students carry one copy of the I-Card to every session they attend, and the other copy must be shown by the parent/guardian coming to receive them after the sessions.
- Any expenses on stationary, costumes or properties required for the classroom sessions or performances will have to be borne by the participant over and above the tuition fee.
