A fourth-generation theatre actor and a senior faculty member at Actor Prepares, Suraj completed his training in Drama and Psychology from London. He has featured in many prime theatre productions in Gujarati, Hindi, Marathi and English language for over a decade as an actor and Director.
Suraj Vyas played the character of a dhaba owner (Makhan) in the movie. From the first scene, the movie captures your imagination with its cinematography and the breathtaking part of nature the camera is trying to absorb. The performances keep you engaged. Thar is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language neo-Western action thriller film written and directed by Raj Singh Chaudhary and produced by Anil Kapoor and Harshvardhan Kapoor. Set in the 80s, Thar is inspired by Western noir genre. It follows a city man who moves to a village located in the wilderness for some exploration work but there’s more to him than what meets the eye. Eventually, the artifice crumbles, and the vintage vehicle of a film gets stuck and wears us out.
Thar comes across looking the most like a straightforward revenge thriller. On the whole, Thar is a film of international standards. It’s a surprise of the season and worth watching for its plot, direction, music score and the never before seen locales of Rajasthan.
