Ritwik completed his training at Actor Prepares in the Diploma Programme and since then is known for his performances in film Cargo (2019) and film Dhuusar (2019). His performance in Bandish Bandits has received tremendous appreciation from audiences and critics alike.
Dr. Sanket, played by Ritwik as the central character in the Sonyliv original series Whistleblower is a tilt-shift for him and shows his versatility. It is a complete turn from what we have seen him do before as Radhe in Bandhish Bandits, and he became a sensation with the Amazon Prime series. There are scenes where you would marvel at his craft.
Ritwik would be seen in the upcoming Amazon Prime original series Modern Love Mumbai. The Mumbai chapter of the loved US original anthology series Modern Love, helmed by John Carney, has brought together six filmmakers—Vishal Bhardwaj, Hansal Mehta, Shonali Bose, Dhruv Sehgal, Alankrita Shrivastava and Nupur Asthana. Communications, the new Amazon Original series will feature six heart-warming stories about “discovering and exploring love in all its shades and emotions”. The anthology includes Sehgal’s I Love Thane featuring Masaba Gupta, Ritwik Bhowmik, Prateik Babbar, Aadar Malik and Dolly Singh.
Modern Love Mumbai is slated for a May 13 release.
