Janaki attended the Diploma Programme in Acting at Actor Prepares. The training was designed to help her progress from a basic level to an advanced stage. The course followed a disciplined approach, incorporating a broad array of classes that trained her in key aspects such as emotions, voice, body, speech & diction, characterization, auditioning techniques and method acting.
She made her acting debut in the movie Vanilla Strawberry & Chocolate which was produced and directed by Girish Vishvanath. The story revolves around a 10th Std girl, ‘Teju’ and her best friend ‘Vanilla’, who is a female dog. The movie is a treat for the eyes as the cinematographer Sachin Khamkar has made the best of the oppurtunity.This film not only entertains you but it gives a social message.
Janaki features in the latest released first zomcom (zombie-comedy) marathi movie Zombivli. The film has created a lot of buzz amongst the audience, making it one of the most anticipated films of the year. Aditya Sarpotdar’s horror-comedy ‘Zombivli’ showcases the surrealness of a zombie outbreak in the city. It stars Amey Wagh, Vaidehi Parshurami, Trupti Khamkar and Janaki Pathak in pivotal roles.
