The Diploma students were very excited to have Sujoy Ghosh, director of acclaimed movies such as Kahaani, Jhankaar Beats and Kahaani 2 amongst them for a Guest Lecture at Actor Prepares.
The session began with Mr Ghosh talking to them about how he entered the industry, from starting off as a script writer to becoming an accidental director. He advised us to, giving an example of himself, to jump at every presented opportunity and be open to learning. You never know what doors might open up for you. He also cautioned them that success does not come easy. It requires a lot of hard work, risk-taking, sacrifice, passion and patience.
Before departing he wished everyone all the best and hoped to audition them for suitable work in his films. We thank Mr. Ghosh for his time and advise to the students.
