YOUNG ACTOR PROGRAMME
The Young Actors Training Programme (YAP) offers weekly speech and drama sessions for pre-teens and teens from age 10 to 14 years. The sessions are designed to train them in the craft of acting and in the process develop essential soft skills like confidence, communication, leadership qualities, empathy, and emotional quotient. Session are conducted online and offline at our centres every Saturday and are 2 hours in duration. Some of the few key training areas we focus on are mentioned ahead
KEY AREAS
1THEATRE TECHNIQUES
The child will understand the preparation and discipline expected when participating in Theatre practices. They will learn character study, text and subtext, emotional memory and repeatedly apply such learning in stage acts and role plays. This will help them overcome their fear of public speaking and most importantly help them loose their inhibitions. The child also understands how to process directional instructions, take on-stage and other backstage responsibilities, and be a part of a larger theatre ecosystem that helps them understand how it is to function as a team effectively.

Understanding non-verbal communication through various theatre-based movement techniques will help children be more comfortable with themselves. This also has a direct impact on their con dence levels and performance skills.
