The aspiring actors of the diploma batch were extremely lucky to have met Sendhil Ramamurthy, an American actor known for his roles in international movies and television series. He shared his international acting experiences with the students which helped them to get an insight from a completely different industry.

Sendhil Ramamurthy kick started his acting career from a television miniseries called ‘In the Beginning’ for the role of Adam and then he appeared in more than two dozen productions. His most notable role and probably the breakthrough of his career came in American superhero drama ‘Heroes’.  He appeared as Dr. Ramsey Rosso/Blood Work in the sixth season of the television series The Flash.

Sendhil is part of the cast of the new Netflix series Never Have I Ever, playing Mohan Vishwakumar, the main character’s father. The series is produced by Mindy Kaling, who had first worked with Ramamurthy when she was a writer and actor on The Office. In 2012, he was nominated for Screen Awards-Most Promising Newcomer – Male.

On behalf of all our students and the team, We would like to thank him for his advice, insights, and motivation. We wish him all the best for his upcoming projects.
