Actor Jimmy Shergill in a guest lecture at Actor Prepares

Actor Jimmy Shergill delivered a guest lecture for the actors in the Diploma programme at Actor Prepares recently. He is an Indian actor and film producer who works in Hindi and Punjabi films.

He shared his experience of working with professional actors and shared insights of his acting processes. This was a great take away for the students. He also mentioned the importance of rehearsals before shoots.

Jimmy Shergill began his film career with the 1996 thriller Maachis. His breakthrough came with the blockbuster musical romance Mohabbatein, which became the highest-grossing Bollywood film of the year, following which he starred in several other box-office hits including Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai , Munna Bhai M.B.B.SHum Tum, A Wednesday!, Tanu Weds Manu, Special 26, Happy Bhag Jayegi and De De Pyaar De

Guest Lecture Series is an integral part of the Diploma in Acting programme at Actor Prepares, in which professionals from the Film, Media and Entertainment industry are invited to visit Actor Prepares and interact in an engaging session with the actors undergoing training. The goal behind these sessions is to have our students learn through exposure, experience, and wisdom of these successful and talented professionals.
