The Arts Club at the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai recently invited Actor Prepares to conduct an acting workshop with their students on the Techniques of Improvisation in Acting.

The institute has an illustrious list of alumni and several of them have won coveted laurels such as the Padma Bhushan, Padma Vibhushan, Padma Shri, and Fellowship of the Royal Society of Chemistry. ICT also boasts of having given India 500 first generational entrepreneurs. One amongst their greatest alumni is Mr. Mukesh Ambani, current chairman and managing director of Reliance Industries Limited.

The students participating in the workshop had already performed in various theatre plays at various college festivals and were looking to sharpen their acting skills so that they can stage a better performance in their upcoming shows. The students were taught how to get under the skin of their characters and how to evolve their performance to be more convincing. They were also put through various exercises on promptness while acting live on stage.

Here is what the students had to say about the workshop.

We wish them all the best for their upcoming shows.
