A recent press release from Adelaide, Australia has announced the casting of our very own, Anupam Kher as one of the lead actors in the Hollywood film Hotel Mumbai that is currently shooting at the Adelaide Studios in Australia.

It has barely been 9 days since the commencement of the most recent Diploma Programme at Actor Prepares. These students mostly comprise of freshers who haven’t done any form of serious acting in their lives. A part of the three month programme involves having the students watch a professional live theatre play.

Did you know that Suchitra Sen was the first Indian Actress to receive an International Award in 1963 at the Moscow International Film Festival. She won the Silver Prize for Best Actress for her Bengali film Saat Paake Bandha.

Bhaag Johnny is a Bollywood thriller directed by Shivam Nair. The film stars Kunal Khemu, Zoa Morani. Zoa Morani has completed her Diploma programme in Acting at Actor Prepares and since then has worked in a film called Always Kabhi Kabhi and did many modelling assignments for Lakme Fashion Week.

Katti Batti , a film helmed by Nikhil Advani, has recently been released. It stars Kangana Ranaut, Imran Khan and Nikkitasha Marwaha. Nikkitasha completed her Diploma Programme in Acting at Actor Prepares and since then has featured in various TV commercials, modelling assignments and short Films.

Ishita Dutta, an Actor Prepares alumna, makes her Bollywood debut in Drishyam opposite Ajay Devgn. She spoke to us about her days at Actor Prepares and her journey to the big screen.
