Story Writing For Cinema

Students will try to understand the basics of storytelling in cinema, and how it is different from other media like novels and plays. Learn the three-act structure of cinematic writing, how to develop cinematic characters, and the tools of plotting. By the end of the course, students will be expected to come up with a story outline of film developed from an original idea of their own – over the weeks of the workshop through lectures, and homework.

Saturdays – 2:00pm to 6:00pm
Sundays – 2:00pm to 6:00pm

CERTIFICATION
A WRITER PREPARES certificate will be awarded to all students upon satisfactory completion of the course.
